Merrill WI Children Photographer
As I narrow down my to do list and catch up on blogging, I just realized I dont ever blog about my own kids! The last time you have seen my youngest was in Spring. You can find that post here. It really takes me back to how little he really was! Unbelievable how much they grow in a years time.
Many of you may not know this but Lukas is our rainbow baby. After a couple years of trying to get pregnant and 2 miscarriages later, we were ecstatic and super excited to welcome the last baby into our lives. And what happens when you say you arent having any more children? When you say 3 is enough, our family is complete? Well, you get pregnant. So with taking some time off from taking pictures right now and getting things done behind the scenes like boring paperwork and accounting, I have time to share personal pictures. I know many of you very well, and have made new friends by taking pictures so I feel it’s important to share things about me and my family.
I dont ever schedule my kids’ pictures. They are taken in a spur of the moment. When we are all having a good day, everybody is happy. But I can take Lukas’ pictures whenever I want! He still cooperates and is still happy and smiles for the camera. As for the older 2, forget it. Its not worth the arguing and bribing. That is why I have family pictures done by another photographer. They are mostly willing to have their picture taken then.
OK, enough of the stories…who wants to see Lukas’ 1st year pictures??
We had so much fun with these tractor pictures. Dawson was my helper to keep Lukas safe and happy. He is just outside of the frame in most of the pictures to make sure he didnt fall off the tractor and to keep him entertained!
Then we headed over to the corner of the yard and just brought a simple chair with. The kids’ personalities come out when you have nothing else to do but be cute in a chair with no props!!
By adding in the cowboy hat, things got even cuter! He did not like the hat on his head, but made for a cute series of pictures!
